Rogue United FC

WHAT IS REC SOCCER?

If your child is new to soccer or has little experience, our recreational program is the perfect place for them to learn and have fun at the same time.

RUFC recreational soccer leagues are an introductory program devoted to the enjoyment of the game and the development of players. In our recreational league, the emphasis is on fun, learning how to play the game, and developing life-long skills. Players should be free to make mistakes without feeling high-level pressure from coaches and parents to win.

Our hope is for parents to ask children if they had fun after the game. Positive reinforcement of recreational players is critical to their enjoyment of the game and benefit the child much more than discussing mistakes.

What is bullying?

Bullying is deliberately hurting a specific person either physically, verbally, psychologically or socially. It involves a power imbalance where one person has power or strength (e.g. physical, mental, social or financial) over another. It can be carried out by one person or several people who are either actively or passively involved. In a sports context bullying can take many forms, for example:
